To be seen and stand out above the competition you need to make sure your home feels open and fresh with just the right amount of layering. If you are going to DIY this process, take photos of each space from different angles and see where rooms might feel crowded, cluttered or missing the finishing touches. You can shop your home to fill the gaps, check the cupboards for decor and move items between rooms. Cut some greenery from the garden to fill vases, and replenish when no longer fresh. Look at homes that are listed in your area and price point to see what you are up against and make adjustments to show your home at its best. And don’t forget the simple things that can make a huge difference. Clean all surfaces, walls, ceiling fans,door handles and light switches. This goes for inside and outside your home. Make sure all light globes are in a warm colour and good working order. Is the front door inviting, clean and opens easily?
